A student celebrating Holi |
A special congregation was held on this day. It started with the children and teachers singing morning prayers. This was followed by a presentation on the various aspects of the festival. To make it a joyful day, Pre-primary wing of the school buzzed with various activities. The students of Pre-Nursery to KG showcased their artistic skills in Hand Printing Activity. They primed beautiful designs and patterns with colours. Such activities help in improving their motor and artistic skills. The above said activities were performed in the keen supervision of their parents.
While congratulating on the holi festival the Principal of the school, Dr. Jyoti Sachdev Pujara said that Holi is the day to express love with colours and she also implored the students to play safe Holi by avoid hurling water balloons, artificial colours and water guns and social gathering due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. She articulated that a better way to keep the Holi celebration quite subtle and eco-friendly is by applying Tilak Holi on the forehead of loved ones. She added that this colourful festival, being a symbol of love and merriment, gives an opportunity to connect with our dear ones and provides a chance to live a fresh and vibrant life. She wished the management, staff, students and parents a safe and colourful Holi.
